Types of Solutions - Graphical Approach

Use the lesson below along with the Guided Notes to learn all about the types of solutions that systems of equations can have.

You will be graphing a system of linear equations to find the solutions.  There are three situations, intersecting lines, one solution, which is called consistent – independent; coinciding lines (same slope and intercepts), which is infinite solutions, called consistent – dependent; and then parallel lines that never intersect, no solution, called inconsistent.

The flipbook matches the PowerPoint lesson exactly.

Below you can use the Guided Notes.  When finished, you can check your work with the key.
