On Teaching Math

Welcome to the polynomial function maze.  This is a great way to learn, practice, review or study polynomial functions.  This maze focuses on the concepts and procedures related to end behavior, intercepts, graphs, and factoring.  If you’d like to review those concepts again before starting the maze, visit those pages.

Here’s how it works.  

1. Grab a copy of the Student – Work Sheet, or just use scratch paper.  
2. Click the link below.  Enter the code when prompted.
3. Solve the first equation.  Select your answer from the buttons below.   Each answer’s button will lead you to a new question.  If you answer every question correctly, you’ll exit the maze.  
4. If you get a question wrong, you will be asked to try again.  If you still miss it, you will be shown a solutions video that will help you understand.  So, don’t guess.  It’s better to get it wrong and learn than guess the right answer.
